VerveAR Launches 3D, AR, and Virtual Try-On Integration for Shopify Merchants

In Augmented Reality News

February 27, 2025 – VerveAR, a provider of virtual try-on and immersive online shopping solutions, has recently announced a new partnership with Shopify that will bring its 3D, augmented reality (AR), and virtual try-on technology to merchants on the platform.

VerveAR’s software enables online retailers and brands to offer their customers realistic immersive shopping experiences, such as 360º shopping, “view in my room” functionality, and virtual try-on, all through its no-code ‘VerveAR Studio’ solution.

According to VerveAR, the new Shopify integration enables merchants on the platform to offer immersive shopping experiences directly on their product pages in order to help drive sales, reduce returns, and increase customer engagement.

“Import, Generate, Deploy”: How does VerveAR work within the Shopify ecosystem?

Available now on the Shopify App Store, the VerveAR integration provides a plug-and-play solution that allows merchants to import their products into VerveAR Studio, generate interactive 3D and AR experiences, and deploy them with minimal setup.

By allowing customers to view products in their space in real time, try on glasses and sneakers, or have a 360º view of a product right from their phones in augmented reality, the new integration can help lead to higher conversion rates, reduced returns, and increased buyer engagement, according to VerveAR.

The company also noted that retail markets expected to benefit most from its Shopify integration include footwear, eyewear, fashion, furniture, fitness equipment, electronics, and outdoor goods, where product visualization plays a key role in purchasing decisions.

How do merchants implement AR experiences into their Shopify storefronts?

Shopify merchants can begin using VerveAR’s technology today by installing the app from the Shopify App Store, importing their product catalog into VerveAR Studio, and generating AR-enabled shopping experiences.

No coding is required to use the solution, although merchants do require high-quality 3D models of products to implement immersive experiences. However, VerveAR also provides model creation services for merchants who lack existing 3D assets. Additionally, the company stated that it is developing an image-to-3D generation tool, which it expects to launch in Q4 2025.

“Our partnership with Shopify marks a new era for eCommerce, where immersive 3D and AR experiences become a standard for online shopping. With VerveAR, Shopify merchants can now offer customers a way to engage with products like never before—boosting confidence, engagement, and sales,” said Danjuma Mohammed, Founder and CEO at VerveAR.

The VerveAR app is now available on the Shopify App Store for merchants worldwide. For more information on VerveAR and its 3D, AR, and virtual try-on technology solutions, please visit the company’s website.
