March 19, 2025 – Spatial collaboration platform Campfire has this week announced expanded support for additional virtual and mixed reality (VR/MR) headsets, bringing its solution to the HTC VIVE Pro 2, HTC VIVE Focus Vision, Varjo XR-3, and the Varjo XR-4 Series.
The announcement gives Campfire customers more flexibility for XR headsets that they can use with the immersive collaboration platform. For HTC and Varjo customers, they now have access to Campfire’s multi-user solution that allows for cross-collaboration over a variety of devices, including desktop, iPad, and Meta Quest devices.
“Adding support for HTC VIVE and Varjo XR devices is all part of Campfire’s aim to make spatial collaboration more accessible to more teams,” said Jay Wright, CEO of Campfire. “By combining the precision and visual fidelity of professional-grade XR headsets with the power and simplicity of our multi-user collaboration platform, we’re helping companies bridge the gap between today’s tools and the future of work.”
Designed to be accessible to anyone, the Campfire platform offers a consistent user experience across different devices, providing a flexible solution to help solve 3D communication problems. By making it more straightforward to bring multiple devices, stakeholders, and workflows into a single platform for spatial collaboration, Campfire stated that it is helping enterprises expand XR to more people and use cases. The company offers users a subscription pricing model, with free and paid plans for companies of all sizes.
“The VIVE product portfolio is designed to deliver cutting-edge XR experiences for users across industries, and we’re thrilled to see Campfire leverage VIVE Pro 2 and VIVE Focus Vision to enable truly collaborative workflows,” said Dan O’Brien, President Americas at HTC VIVE. “This partnership represents a significant step forward in how professionals interact, design, and innovate together in immersive environments.”
“Varjo’s devices are built for ultimate precision and lifelike realism in simulations, and we’re excited to collaborate with Campfire to bring the unmatched power of the XR-4 Series to multi-user scenarios,” said Miika Jokinen, Head of Software Partnerships at Varjo. “By combining Varjo’s ultra-high-fidelity mixed reality with Campfire’s collaborative capabilities, industrial teams can tackle the most complex engineering and design challenges with confidence.”
