November 29, 2024 – Black Friday 2024 brings notable discounts across the XR industry, with offerings spanning augmented reality (AR) glasses, virtual reality (VR) headsets, and wearable tech. Whether for gaming, fitness, or immersive experiences, some of the deals available today (and in some cases extending through the weekend) provide a range of options for XR enthusiasts and newcomers alike. All prices listed are in USD.
XREAL kicked off Black Friday earlier this week with exclusive discounts on its latest AR devices, the XREAL Air 2 Pro and Beam Pro. The Air 2 Pro is priced at $349 (a $100 discount from its regular price of $449). Meanwhile, the Beam Pro—XREAL’s portable 3DoF spatial computing device—is on sale for $159, marking the first time it has ever been discounted.
For those looking to maximize their savings, XREAL is also offering a bundle of the Air 2 Pro and Beam Pro for $508, compared to the usual $648. The deals are available from the company’s website as well as on Amazon, and will last until December 2, 2024.
HTC’s Black Friday offerings combine significant discounts on its advanced VR hardware with enticing deals on its VIVEPORT Infinity platform. Firstly, HTC’s most recently released headset, the VIVE Focus Vision, is available at its normal price of $999, but includes the VIVE Wired Streaming Kit (which itself has a regular value of $149), plus, buyers also get three out-of-the-box VR games, as well as their choice of game pack from VIVEPORT.
Other deals include HTC’s lightweight VIVE XR Elite headset, which sees a $300 price cut, now available for $799.99 (regularly $1,099). The VIVE Pro 2 Full Kit, which offers 5K clarity and precision tracking, is similarly reduced to $799.99, down from $1,199, while the VIVE Pro 2 headset alone is $499.99, a $200 discount. HTC’s hardware sale also includes the VIVE Tracker 3.0 for $99.99 (regular price $129.99) and SteamVR Base Station 2.0 for $149.99 (regular price $199).
On the software side, VIVEPORT Infinity memberships are discounted by 10% for both monthly and annual plans. Annual subscribers also receive Arizona Sunshine 2 Deluxe Edition for free. For gamers, curated bundles—like the Action or Simulation packs—are available at 50% off. These deals run until December 2, 2024.
Pimax has used Black Friday to introduce a new pricing structure on its Crystal Light VR headset, designed to make premium VR experiences with high-resolution visuals more accessible. Priced at $599 upfront, the deal introduces flexible ownership options. Customers can pay $11.99 per month over 24 months, totaling $886, or opt for a one-time membership fee of $259, bringing the total to $858.
Both new pricing plans allow buyers to fully own the headset after 24 months, with no further subscription requirements, and include a 14-day trial period before subscription payments begin. Crystal Light’s original price upon its release earlier this year was $899. As far as an actual Black Friday offer goes, Pimax is offering free shipping for the Crystal Light to customers in the US, UK, EU, and Canada.
FORM is diving into Black Friday with a $50 discount on its Smart Swim 2 AR goggles, now priced at $199 (regularly $249). Tailored for swimmers, these goggles provide real-time metrics such as pace, distance, and heart rate displayed directly in the wearer’s view. An integrated heart rate monitor and AR-enhanced coaching features make them ideal for improving training efficiency in pools, open water, and swim spas. New customers receive a free month of FORM Premium, granting access to guided workouts and personalized coaching.
Another AR offering for athletes this Black Friday weekend is from ENGO, which is offering endurance athletes up to 35% off its ENGO 2 heads-up display when paired with ENGO Care. Shoppers using the code “BLACKDEAL” at checkout will be able to get this deal for $224.95 (regular price $299.95).
ENGO 2 features a lightweight, water-resistant design with 12-hour battery life, perfect for long training sessions. With its heads-up display, athletes can view real-time metrics such as heart rate, pace, and distance synced from compatible devices like smartwatches or cycling computers. Gesture controls allow users to switch dashboards safely on the move, while customizable layouts make it easy to track specific performance goals.
