April 17, 2019 – CEEK VR has announced the launch of its new 4D 360 CEEK VR Headphones. In line with the launch, CEEK VR brand ambassador, Dani Carvajal has completed capture of an exclusive experience that will also be released on the CEEK VR App.
The CEEK 4D Headphones take scene geometry and characteristics into account and dynamically generate real-time audio. Furthermore, CEEK’s patented Smart Audio headphones are tuned and optimized with haptic feedback based on sound intensity and range.
By visualizing sound and adding haptic feedback based on audio intensity in this way, CEEK VR Headphones are able to enable the auditory system to accurately reproduce depth, range, perspective and distance of sound, in a similar way to how it would exist in a real environment.
Founder and CEO Mary Spio says, “Traditional headphones are designed for predefined scenarios, not real-time dynamic life-like experiences. They do not react to movement give you direction sound or indication of distance. The CEEK VR Headphone uses 4D physics-based audio technology and haptic feedback to create rich, engulfing soundscapes, which enables you to both hear and feel movies, music, and games in a completely new way.”
The specifications of the CEEK 4D headphones are as follows:
