December 23, 2024 – DPVR, a provider of virtual and mixed reality (VR/MR) hardware and software solutions, has announced that it plans to showcase new XR innovations along with a new “mystery product” next month at CES 2025 in Las Vegas.
With nine years of experience providing immersive technology solutions to a wide range of sectors, DPVR stated that next month it will be demonstrating how its innovations are helping industries including education, entertainment, training, and healthcare.
A Sneak Peek at DPVR’s CES 2025 Showcase
New “mystery product” set to be unveiled
DPVR has teased the unveiling of a new product at CES 2025. Although the company did not provide any specific information as to what the product might be, it did state that the new product “underscores DPVR’s unwavering commitment to driving the future of technological excellence.” Visitors to the DPVR booth will be among the first to experience this latest innovation from the company.
In addition to this new product, DPVR stated that it will be showcasing its XR Innovations across key sectors, including:
- Education: In collaboration with partners such as Umety, SchooVR, MetabookXR, and SensibleVR, DPVR is aiming to drive the future of education through its VR and MR solutions, which are designed to enhance student engagement and simplify complex concepts through immersive learning environments.
- Entertainment: DPVR will present its E-Series headsets, including the E4 Arc, E3S, and E4 models. The company highlighted that its E4 Arc device, which features Ultraleap’s advanced hand-tracking technology, was recognized with a 2024 SIVA Award earlier this year for its innovative design and interactive capabilities.
- Arcades: Additionally, DPVR will showcase its collaborative arcade systems, including VR titles like ‘Godzilla Kaiju Wars VR’ and ‘Virtual Rabbids.’ The company stated that its VR arcade systems deliver “unparalleled levels of excitement, interactivity, and realism for arcade enthusiasts and operators alike.”
- Healthcare: DPVR offers medical VR solutions that aid healthcare professionals with training and patient care, particularly in the specialized field of stoma surgery. Through a collaboration with L.A.B., DPVR has developed realistic immersive simulations that are designed to equip surgeons and medical teams with the tools they need to refine their techniques.
Commenting on the company’s healthcare offerings, DPVR’s COO, Derek Liu said: “DPVR, established 9 years ago, is now attending CES for the third time. Over the years, we have focused on VR products and worked with our world-class content, simulators, and system partners to deliver comprehensive solutions to the market. This year at CES, in addition to showcasing collaborative products with our outstanding partners, we are also unveiling our latest innovation, set to launch in North America and Europe in 2025. We hope to engage in in-depth discussions with attending partners about the market strategy for this new product and work together to grow the XR industry in 2025.”
DPVR’s standalone devices and new ‘P2 Vision’ headset
DPVR will also be demonstrating its standalone VR headsets, including the P1 Pro Cam and P2, which are tailored for high-quality VR experiences across both professional and consumer use cases. Additionally, the company will unveil for the first time its new “P2 Vision” headset, which it has developed in partnership with Ganzin, a provider of eye-tracking technology. More details on the P2 Vision device will follow next year.
