Doublepoint Launches WowMouse Presenter for Gesture-Controlled Presentations

September 24, 2024 – Doublepoint, a provider of gesture detection technology, has today announced the launch of WowMouse Presenter — a new app that turns a user’s Wear OS smartwatch into a gesture-controlled remote for PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations.

Building on the success of Doublepoint’s original WowMouse gesture solution, which has received over 70,000 downloads to date, WowMouse Presenter helps to enhance presentation control, allowing presenters to navigate slides using simple hand gestures, eliminating the need for clickers or remotes.

The company’s original WowMouse app transformed Android smartwatches into gestural input devices for augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), with Doublepoint’s technology allowing developers to integrate touch-based micro-gestures into AR/VR applications, as well as IoT devices and Smartwatch offerings.

The WowMouse Presenter app is available now for only USD $1.99 on the Google Play store for a limited time. Doublepoint stated that this early bird pricing is set to expire on October 20, after which point the price will increase to USD $3.99. However, even after the price increase, it still makes the WowMouse Presenter a much cheaper alternative to physical presentation remotes, which are regularly priced at more than $30.
